Agreement

These terms are between [Your business's legal name here] ("climateJob", "we") and the business creating an account ("you", "the customer"). Creating an account or subscribing means you accept these terms on behalf of your business.

What climateJob is

A job management platform for air conditioning and refrigeration engineering businesses — scheduling, digital job cards, F-Gas compliance records, and customer sign-off, available on Solo (one user) and Small Business (up to 10 users) plans.

climateJob is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for your own compliance obligations. F-Gas and other regulatory requirements are your business's legal responsibility, not ours — the app helps you keep accurate records of work you're already required to do correctly.

Accounts

The person who signs up is the account admin. You're responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. On Small Business plans, the admin controls who's invited and can remove access at any time.

Subscriptions & billing

Payments are handled by Stripe — climateJob never sees or stores your card details. New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial; a card is required upfront, and billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Plans renew monthly (or annually, where selected) until cancelled. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT.

You can cancel at any time from within the app; access continues until the end of the current billing period, with no partial refund for the remaining time. [Failed-payment grace period to be confirmed and added here.]

Your data

You own the data you put into climateJob — your business details, your engineers' records, and your customers' information. For your customers' personal data specifically, your business is the data controller and climateJob acts as the data processor, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Cancelling isn't the same as deleting — your data stays intact for a period after cancellation in case you resubscribe, rather than being removed immediately. [Exact retention period to be confirmed and added here.]

Acceptable use

climateJob is provided for genuine business use by the account holder and their invited engineers. You agree not to attempt to access another company's data, interfere with the security or normal operation of the service, or resell or white-label access without our agreement.

Availability & liability

We aim to keep climateJob available and reliable, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the app is designed to keep working offline and sync when reconnected, precisely because real-world signal and connectivity aren't always reliable. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you've paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, breach of these terms, or misuse of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use climateJob after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
